Our funding campaign has come to an end. Thanks so much to everyone that has made this possible. We are beyond excited.
What next?
Kickstarter is ironing out the kinks to make sure that everyone's payment went through. If you receive a message from them about an error with your payment, please follow their instructions to get it fixed up.
We are developing our questionnaires and hope to get them out to you all as soon as possible.
We are also talking with our fabric importer about placing an order. The Harris Tweed mill is on vacation until August 15th. After they get back, we'll have a much better idea of what our schedule looks like in terms of production.
As far as the shirts go. Once we get the questionnaires back, we are going to place the order for the shirts and get them printed up. That should really only take a couple of weeks. We are planning on fulfilling them as soon as we can. That means we are going to try and get them sent out before the hats. We will send out sizing information before we send the questionnaire.
We will also be setting up a page to take pre-orders in case anyone wanted to get a Break North hat or t-shirt but missed our campaign.

P.S. A note to international backers: If you got a hat and a shirt, we aren't going to be able to ship the shirts early. Sorry about that but it made no sense to us to ask for an additional $20 in shipping just so you could get the shirt a little bit earlier. I hope everyone understands.

We are over the moon to already be over our funding goal. We are still trying to shore up support as we approach the end of this campaign. In just a few days we'll begin the exciting part: getting these hats, and shirts, into your home.

A Note on Hat Lining
While we have you here, a few people have approached us to ask if there is any lining in the hats. We had considered adding lining to the hats but had decided against it because we felt like the tweed we are using holds it's shape well without the lining. We also felt that the wool would breath better without it. But adding a soft fusable trico lining to the inside of the hats is doable and a total possibility.
If you would prefer to have lining in the hats, please speak up. Let us know your thoughts. We aren't married to no lining, that's just where we are right now. If enough people want lining, we'll do, no problem.

How to add a t-shirt to your hat pledge

Greetings folks,
I'd like to thank all of our backers thus far. It's been only 24 hours and we are over a third of the way there. That's huge, thanks!
We received a request from someone that had supported us at the Defending Champion level but also wanted a t-shirt. This is no problem.
If you want to add a t-shirt to any pledge, just go back and add $25 to your pledge. This will work even if you already got the t-shirt and want another. We'll get your size when we send out our surveys after the project funds.
